We provide a comprehensive range of foster parent training designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills needed throughout your fostering journey. Our training covers a variety of topics, from foundational subjects like child development and safeguarding to specialised areas such as caring for children with autism and understanding gender identity. We aim to enhance your expertise so you can deliver the best possible care for young people. 

Additionally, our training is flexible and designed to fit your schedule. With a blended learning approach that includes virtual sessions (available during the day and in the evening), face-to-face interactions, and e-learning options, you have the freedom to choose how and when you learn.

• In-person training: Engage with fellow local foster parents and build connections while learning at a nearby office or training center.

• Online training: Experience group learning without the need to travel, allowing you to connect with foster parents from our broader community.

• E-learning: Complete your training at your own pace, taking breaks as needed and returning when you're ready.
