An independent foster agency works alongside the Local Authorities to provide Foster Family Homes for vulnerable children. Bespoke fostering will support you as a foster parent including you having your own Social Worker. we will provide you with intensive support, training and access to additional services.  

The simple answer is yes. At bespoke fostering we are conscious of the terminology we use, for children in our care and want to ensure we embrace the true essence of becoming a foster parent. 

you will need to be 21 to become a foster parent and have at least one spare bedroom. 

This is your own choose if you would like to continue working, we do ask that you have the time and availability to support a child. Bespoke fostering pay a generous allowance to support you as a foster parent and to also support any children in your care. 

Yes, you can be a foster parent if you are LGBT+. We assess people’s suitability for fostering on how well they can support a child’s needs in giving a secure home where a child can thrive. If you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or questioning, we will welcome your application. 

Our foster parents come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own unique set of skills and talents. It's essential to have the patience to navigate any challenges that may arise and the dedication to invest time, care and love in supporting a vulnerable child. 

Availability around the clock is critical and a reality. when you are a foster parent (or having a partner to share this responsibility with). 

As a foster parent, you will be the voice for our children when they need you to be and advocate for their best interests, a good sense of humour is much needed when you are a foster parent . You don't need to be perfect to be a suitable foster parent.
